For the first ever LCTSU Undergraduate Conference, our presenters explored the theme of Bodies and Senses, from diverse perspectives across disciplinary, historical, and geographical boundaries.
Dr. Hande Gurses (Department of Near and Middle Eastern Civilizations) gave the keynote lecture, “Stories of Love, Bodies of Pain: Violence, Displacement, and Animality in Haw and The Story of a Brief Marriage.”
The conference was held on Thursday January 24th, 2019.
